Billing FAQ:

  • What insurances do you accept?

We accept CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, American Specialty Health (Cigna), United Healthcare, Aetna, and Medicare. We also offer self-pay rates for individuals who have an insurer we do not accept.

  • When can I expect to receive a Bill?

Maryland regulation COMAR 14.09.08.06 requires insurers to reimburse providers or to deny in full or in part or within 45 days of receipt of the provider’s bill. In some cases, it can take longer than the 45 days if they notify us that we need to resubmit with extra documentation demonstrating medical necessity (letter, re-evaluation notes, updated referral, etc.), and this is usually by mail only. We typically advise patients to allow 60 days from the date of service. This ensures that you get the most accurate bill and coverage.

  • What if I have questions or concerns about my bill?

At Resilient, we have a separate billing department from the front desk. All mailed bills are itemized with CPT codes for the services you received. If you have any in-depth questions about your bill please contact them at: 440-992-6770.

  • How can I Pay My Bill?

We’re proud to announce that we now offer online bill pay. This is effective for services completed after the date of 6/1/2024. This allows more options than our traditional methods such as in person, by mailed check, and/or paid with a card over the phone at 443-505-3984.
